Default CAR is at GTM 3rd times the charm!

well my car shipped out to GTM about a week ago from UTAH. I never quite had the car running right with the utec and im kinda dissapointed with it. im glad that the car is finnaly at a tuner who can get the car back to me the way i want it. ive heard nothing but good stories from people who have sent there cars to GTM so i feel confident. im on my second built motor.. hopefully the motor was built strong and everything is ok.. this will be the 3rd time my car has been down at a shop trying to get the car tuned and running with built motor... MRC did not have a dyno when i had my work done there so i kind of got screwed by timing oh well **** happens.. and it is what it is..

right now im running

aps TT
utec
rc650cc
forge actuators
aps tt fuel system
pro 1 test pipes
hks hi power exhaust

i plan to upgrade the EMS to the AEM with the serial gauge and the fuel system (havnt decided how yet) and hopefully some other things pending my 10k budget.

well ill keep everyone updated on the progress. so far so good and im extremely pleased with SAM and the customer service at GTM.

also im Back in IRAQ and have leave in sept to come home when my son is being born so i will be flying into LA to pick the car up and have a good drive back to utah .. should be a good month.

What happened to your 1st built motor? If anyone can get it right it will be GT Motorsports.

What's the issue exactly? Idle? Hesitation at WOT? Hard starts?

well it had a leak at the rear main seal and wasnt tuned.. i tried to get it tuned down in DC at AAM and by Jermain at TXS but they wouldnt cause of the leak so on my drive back to MRC to get the leak fixed it blew about one or two exits off the turnpike from MRC.. absolutely bull**** luck! i was checking the oil and made sure all that was good but driving a car untuned is not a good thing i guess..

I know of one shop in the LA/IE area that is top notch and that is GT motorsports. The staff and techs and well trained and extremely friendly. I'm sure Sam and his crew will tune your car right......

On another note get back to our U.S. soil safe we lost enough of our brothers and sister there......God speed
