I wonder what JWT would say/think/do if they found out what VRT is doing? I think someone should inform JWT of these serious accusations about VRT. Of course assuming if all of this is true.

Glad I didn't drink the kool-aid when they came on initially.....had one conversation with Mr. A and got that uneasy "shady used-car salesman" pressure pitch....

Didn't want to give me a detailed quote, only this vague verbal "estimate"......

Wow... more and more people being screwed over by VRT. Isn't VRT doing a car for a magazine or something right now? Someone should contact the magazine and inform them of this thread and the kind of shop VRT is.

Geez, I just sat here and read this whole thread. It makes me sick to my stomach that a shop could do these things to people and not give it a second thought.

why isn't VRT here trying to defend themselves? Is it possible they haven't seen the thread yet? Someone should call them and point them in the direction of this thread so we can get a response.

I've been reading this thread over the past two days and I can't help but be skeptical for two reasons...

1) The sheer sublimity of the accusations. We're not talking about a few hundred dollars here. According to some of the posts, there are thousands and tousands of dollars being allegedly 'stolen' (for lack of a better term) from individual customers. If these turn out to be true...even just one incident... then it is grounds for a major law suit.

2) The poster's who have been waiting for 'months' for a refund, or an updated and justifiable estimate report or just an explanation have apparently taken NO legal action as of yet. Why not? If someone had withdrawn money from my account without my permission (especially in excess of the agreed amount) I would be so far up their a$$ with legal action, I could tickle their throats.

I hope that an actual resolution comes out of this and not just online bickering.
