It has been a week now since Sharif worked his magic on my car and although others have already posted his praises, I just have to tell you guys my story. I installed a Greddy TT kit on my car 3,000 miles ago and had nothing but trouble from the start. Within these few miles I have replaced two turbos due to a blocked oil supply line and piston rods and bearings due to over boosting. After the dust settled from all these repairs, I dynoed at 292 whp with 5psi boost ... and the car ran like junk. I met Sharif at the performance forum at the ZdayZ event and knew he was the guy to straighten out my mess. My car went into his shop at 292 whp at 5psi boost (dynoed on a Mustang dyno) and came out with 375 whp at 7.5psi boost. The car runs great!! There is a huge difference in the pull throughout the power curve. This is my daily driver so I am satisfied with a low boost spirited car that is better than the average ride on the road, as opposed the the high boost/high horsepower setups that many of you are running. I now have a renewed pride in my car and a restored confidence that when I mash the gas I will not blow something up!!! I have a little adjusting to do on my BOV, but finally ... I'm good to go. When I was at Forged Performance, I waited on the couch as my car was being worked on and Sharif took the time to give me updates on how things were going and even explained what some of my problems were and how they were fixing them ... great customer service!!! Kudos to Sharif and his crew at Forged Performance. I will not hesitate to drive the distance again for any future work I need on my car.

Great to hear man, i myself will be doing my own install on my SFR TT kit and getting him to do the tune, but hearing stories like this about sharif seriously makes me just want to ship it to him and let him do the install and tune all at once. I've talked to him a couple of times on the phone and based on what others have said he seems to be the best option available to me due to his view on how things should be done.

Chris'smax ... I would encourage you to give serios consideration to having the kit installed by Sharif. I did all the searches on this forum to hear from those who know and I made the mistake of ignoring the advice. Now I have wasted thousands of $$ that would have gone to better use with other mods for my car. It took me 26 days to bolt on the Greddy kit (working at night) with the engine in the car. I now believe everyone who was saying that the engine should be pulled to install the kit ... at least with the Greddy. Good luck ... I hope your story is a happier one than mine.

But there is no replacement for experience. And Sharif has a great track record because of his attention to detail. Dropping the motor is something I didn't want to do either. They do it as a matter of routine.
Choose wisely
Grats. I am glad you are happy, that's what matters. I recomend everyone I come across to Sharif and the Forged crew. All around great place to do buisness. Enjoy the car!!!
Dyno Charts. As you can see from the boost curve, I was fighting with the mechanical boost controller a little bit.
I used a little work-around to get the trq curve for you guys, this time.

let me guess... TurboXS manual boost controller? the .5psi spike looks familiar...
those things work well up to about 13psi... at 19psi, the dyno graph looks like an Etch-a-Sketch... *haha*
congrats on the new power... you definitely took it to the right shop...

I've done a few jackstand installs in my day, but as i have gotten older my patience isn't what it used to be. Now when a wrench slips and i bust a knuckle it ends up with me breaking something out of frustration. Also i am not in school anymore so i can't just skip out of my part time job to go work on the ride.
Sharif, are you still doing the whole transportation accomodations deal? If so i think having you install it would be much easier on my hands and nerves

stormcrow, you guessed it ... turbosx manual boost. I at least dug deep enough in the pocket to get the "performance" model. Not sure if it is any better than the base model but thought the extra $20 may be worth something.
chris'smax, good luck with your upcoming turbo install. I think you will not regret letting Sharif do the job ... wish I had made that decision six months ago.
