*Experts-yea or nea.....AAM oil pan spacer and braided lines for TN kit*
I'd like to hear what the experts (vendors, people who actually have the above setup) say about returning oil to a spacer rather than the manufacturer recommended method of tapping the block.
I don't really see any reason not to return it to a spacer, because essentially that's what the APS and GReddy kits do with their upgraded oil pans. I believe the only reason TN recommends tapping the block is because they don't provide an upgraded pan...simple as that. Or am I wrong?
I'd like to hear from anyone who has had problems directly related to using a spacer for the oil return, if any.
I'd really like to go forward with the spacer and braided line setup, unless someone has actual evidence that it is not as good as the block tap.
Chris
ps,
I'm getting the spacer whether I use the lines or not

Yes, I have this setup. No problems yet. I only put near 2500 miles on it so far. I just fail to see where doing this causes problems. Several highly respected people I've spoken to, don't see where this should cause problems.
