Default 440 Injectors around what power are they maxed out at???

440 injectors around what power are they maxed out at I hear it around 400 give or take a few. But just would like some feed back from those who have them I want to retune for around 400 + or - a few. getting down to the last things I need to buy for my little retune.

With a return fuel system, about 420-450whp.

I wasnt able to get more than 400 with the 440cc/ return line/ and walbro. I recommand getting 550cc to be on the safe side.

I would suggest you get a return fuel system (such as CJ motor sports stage 1), walbro, and the 440cc injectors.

before you go further.... i think with the stock block those injectors will be fine for safe power levels =]

i woudl have been better off with 550cc but if you already got 440s u shoudl be fine for the stock block power levels IMO

^ Good point if he already has the injectors. Just make sure you get the return and pump. If you don't have the injectors yet, listen to mrpharmD.

From what I have been told, turbos can get more hp out of lower cc injectors than superchargers. So around 420-440whp for turbos and 400 for superchargers. Something about parasitic loss.

as a rule of thumb....injectors flow rate is roughly related to hp levels....its not exact, but good for quick reference.

So 440cc injectors are good for 440whp

550cc injectors for 550whp and so on...

can more power be made....sure....how much is up to your tuner.

What about if Im on the JWT KIT I know I have some type of FPR in my tank? Not sure how it works. But I dont have any AAM or CMJ F/R system. I just would like to know if I should get rid of my 440's or are they ok cause if they are I have the money to tune now.

Why don't you ask your tuner?

*Note, that this example will only hold true with a 6 cylinder engine!
