I am just starting to gather everything for a motor build. I decided to add some excitement to the front of the motor. the pieces are just sitting on top right now. I am going to try to find some chrome bolts to finish it off! The front and back timing covers were powder coated, and the timing covers, and access covers were chrome plated.
Also, what should I do for my valve covers? gloss black, red, or chrome?
I already have had my intake manifold chromed for about six months now.

you're right....I think a custom engine will be in order!
Havent seen black and chrome until now...looks terrific!
we did a chrome powder coating on BamBam's valve covers, and i thought it looked very nice. But after seeing Z1's crinkle finish red, and I am leaning towards the crinkle.

I was not sure if the valve covers could take the baking process for powder coating.....Brent didn't have any issues? do you have any pics of his valve covers?

It is just a waterpump, I wouldn't sweat it
Parts look great - you are going to have one clean looking motor.

That looks real nice. Real Chrome is a pain to get done, I had my strut braces done and they didnt turn out looking that nice.
I also had mine come back from the powder coater recently. It's also a bit different from any of the others I've seen.
