my greddys don't make an artificial whistle sound if that's what you are asking, but they do sound good.......it sounds better than just a release of air.

 

Well, I didn't want to state the obvious.

I think I heard a Blitz before, but it didn't sound like that at all.

Some of the vids on you tube, it sounds just like a release of air...kinda like a "kkhhaaaaaa" noise...but I stumbled upon a video inside of sharif's car on the track, and I believe he has 2 RS's...and it sounds kinda like 2 laser guns..hehe

The skyline sounds like a blitz bov but at 18+ psi....

mine sounds like the second one too, but I get a longer blow off sound effect because I am only running single springs in each BOV. this allows my BOVs to stay open under all vacuum conditions. I use the set screw to adjust how much I want the valves to open.....if I don't, the valves open too far and they get stuck open and won't seal shut.

 

ya that sounds bout right.mmmm wonder what it sounds like in the 5-8psi range.

here's a quick video I took with my cell phone. Sorry for the crappy quality and sound. The video is some part throttle acceleration in 1st gear and then in 2nd. I would say that this is about 6psi. I am running Dual Greddy RS BOVs modded.

sound like they are crying a buddy of mine had a blue 350 greddy TT @5.5 psi and is sounded like the car was crying was so hot!!!

 

Greddy Type-S was one of the best sounding blow off valves imo. Doesn't sound like a bird chirping, like the SSQV, more like an electronic whistle. Sounds really good in person.

nope.....couldnt find where it was mounted......I know the ORC Z runs Twin Blitz and it sounded pretty dope.

 

sounds like **** in person, and even sh1tter in on video.

 

I still prefer its high pitch whistle to the SSQV, though.
