Got a few bov questions..

I have been looking into the Greddy RS and HKS SSQV valvles, and I also came across the synapse synchronic bov. I have seen alot of videos on the synchronic on you tube, but havent seen anyone of here running one of these.

1) Does anyone own one and can comment on the performance and sound of it? Any leak issues/comp surge? How does it sound at your boost levels?

2) I am still trying to find some decent sound clips of the Greddy RS on a 350z with a decent amount of boost. What does the Greddy RS Bov sound liks exactly? Does it have more of a wistle/chirp sound like the HKS SSQV? or is more of an air surge sound like the Blitz DD, Tial, RFL Etc? I have read it has a similar laser type sound like the old type S...any comments on this or vids would be appreciated!

3) I know what the HKS sounds like, but how does it compare to the other two as far as performance/comp surge/leaks?

4) Is the Greddy RS or HKS SSQV louder?

5) Also, at what power point is it neccessary to run 2 bov's?

my SSQV was loud.. till i got my Greddy Evo TT.. now i can hardly hear it

 

the hks is waaaayyy louder than the greddy...

What does the Greddy sound like compared to the HKS? Is it more of an air release noise, or does it have any kind of wistle/chirp/laser type noise to it. The only ones that I have heard that dont sound like straight air release are the HKS SSQV and the Greddy type S.

I might just get the HKS and get the insert so I can have both sounds and switch back and forth.

The GReddy RS (I've only heard one in person) just sounds like air. The HKS should be fine for lower boost levels (like under 20psi)... anything past that I wouldn't run anything other than a TiAL. Hell, I don't even like the HKS for anything over 15psi.

No experience with the Synapse valve.

I run dual Greddy RS BOVs that I modded to open up faster...which in turn makes them louder at low boost......

i am in love with the sound of gas bein released that is why i decided to get the greddy rs

 

Not sure, but the Turbonetics Raptor sounds the same as that.

 

thats what im trying to find out...............sounds so perfect.
