Yeah, it's paid for. The pistons are slightly higher CR(10.5:1). plus I found a boost leak when I was taking the motor out. So I might get about 410 whp this time.

But u have forged internals correct? Just higher comp. Should work well with your Vortech . . . shouldn't u be seeing higher than 410whp?

Forged pistons, billet rods. I'm being conservative, don't want to guess too high and be dissappointed when I see the actual numbers. I'm more concerned about torque anyway. I had 345 before. Would be nice to break 350.

this is a pretty informative thread. my shop recommended it, and i went ahead and did it, so im hoping that is going to be a well spent $1k

yeah. we discussed it and it will save me a little in labor to do it now, and i will be able to run higher (slightly) boost pressure.

i'm can be such a n00b with this kind of thing sometimes, so right now i'm reading up to try and understand how it works exactly, and why i need it in first place.

i did the fuel return on mine and am glad i did. It allowed me to hit 405whp at 7.5 psi on sharif's dyno running 440cc injectors at a safe duty cycle.
