$175! Go pound sand!

 

Well, you won't hear me say this very often but I agree with Berto on this one...
I was the person who organized the private track day about 2 years ago and the cost for 30 people is aproximately $3,200. Yes we ran two lanes and tech was reasonable considering it was not a NHRA event. No one failed or anything, but none of us had any stupid fast times either, so I can't say for sure how strict they were being.

We had a great time and even had a few other non-Z cars show up.
I encourage anyone that wants a great day out to go to a private track event with their fellow car guys/gals. But not everyone can afford that kind of money and some people will feel that is too much considering what they can do at a weekly 'Test & Tune'.

To each their own. I am sure anyone that does go will have a great time.

I guess this is not your typical day at the track. This is a high end allstar cast and to get people that have really exotic cars to show you need to get press and such. This is going to be coverd for tv and a dvd will be made with magazine coverage as well. I figured there was a few people on here that would like to have good press for there cars and business's.

Now that makes more sense... I guess I did not get that feeling from the original post. Maybe it was the OT discussions that detracted from the original message.

Sounds like a good time for everyone involved and a chance for some to get a little publicity that most of us desire.

Thanks for inviting members from this board. I would like to come but after the Rally, my car is in some serious need of bodywork and repainting. So it is headed back down to GA for a final check up before calling the project done.
