Yep. I remember this being posted back then, but was under the impression that he had a full fledged shop (with enclosed bays) at his house with full garage and lifts. I had no idea it was a car port where the cars were left exposed to the elements. Even if it were a nicer facility at the house, I still got a good laugh that the "business" was being run out of the guy's home. I just can't believe that people would visit this place, see it, and decide to leave their car in such conditions...

I also never believed the VRT dynos either... All I saw were insanely high and unbelievable torque curves, and huge mysterious bumps in the middle of the dyno that looked like wheel spin. Every single one of them had some strange feature that left me questioning its validity.

Update:
Got an email from SCC stating they have spoken with VRT on this and would appreciate it if we would keep their project car out of these discussions. I fully respect the editor there and even more so the particular editor that emailed me so I will respect their wishes and not bring it up again. I can only ask that everyone follow suite. Besides I think the damage has been done here. Everything further is just adding insult to injury anyways.

Forget all the illegal stuff...........So they are intent on having someone who doesnt know what they are doing bossing around another guy that doesnt know what he is doing to finish their "project car". LOL. Some "projerk car" that is going to be! O' my god. Now I know why Dsport drops the bomb on SCC

Can you elaborate Mia? That response from the editor doesn't sound very encouraging.

Did the editor even seem appreciative of being notified about their project car and are they concerned about it? If so, did he give any indication as to what SCC is going to do? Or do they want this whole thing swept under the carpet so they can save face?

+1

Sounds to me like they want this mess to just go away, and go blind to what VRT is doing to them.

If anything at least word got to them.

I for one sure as **** am not going to stop talking about it. if they are seriously going to let these people build their car then they just lost ALL RESPECT.

if the car ever gets built and VRTs name is on it, I'll be sure to tell EVERYONE I know how incredibly lame they are. and never buy their magazine (which I religiously buy/read) anymore.

no.. it means that when they deal with the matter.. they can always say they choose a different direction with the car.. instead of saying they saw pictures of their car on a website in a bad state as their reason.

I guess that's only if they get their car out of there. We'll know if it comes out wearing a VRT sticker on the side.
