good point!! like trying to get certain drivers involved with his project, he's always asking/trying to 'work out a deal' with some of the top drivers attending the Time Attack events.... I have already told the ones I know to steer clear and try not to be associated with them/him...

Done. I might not be a my350z heavyweight like some of you peeps, but every bit counts, right?

Also... that car is sporting the same BBS RGRs as the SCC car. Considering the Vortech intercooler, the banner, the wheels, I'm fairly certain that is their car.

I emailed the inbox and all 3 managing editors, if that matters at all. Something tells me we can expect a rather humbled Project 350Z update in an upcoming issue of SCC...

-Getting caught red-handed staging threads on this forum.

-Multiple first hand allegations of unauthorized charges on customers' credit cards.

-First hand allegations of used parts being sold and installed as new.

-A former employee failing to divulge his association with VRT (until it was exposed) while adamantly defending them by being a dismissive ***** to the the alleged victims who were coming forward to share their personal negative experiences with VRT.

-Mods informing us that VRT will not officially respond to the accusations due to pending legal action.

-VRT getting stripped of their sponsorship on this site.

Well based on the number of complaints...its more of the opposite wit VRT. 10 unhappy customers vs 2 that are happy (eagle1 and navigolf)

business licenses are public record. alot of counties have searches available online. state licenses are the same way.

This is not about having a business license.........In certain parts of San Diego, you dont need a business licence and are still a legitimate business. However, you cant run an auto repair shop out of your house and have a BAR (Bureau of Automotive Repair) licence, an EPA number, Insurance for cars, customers and employees, etc.............. If you dont have these licenses, then you are not a legit repair shop. The otherside of this which is even worse is..........If you are working without a valid BAR license, and get sued, you automatically lose! The judge wont even listen to your side of the story. So the customers have alot of power even at this point in time. They have much more power then if he stayed in his shop.It is just bad for both sides when you work out of a house.

i dont get why this whole working out of the house things was not exposed a year or 2 ago.
when i was doing research before i purchased a kit in early 06 i made a trip down to VRT to check them out. it was right there in the same place. at that guys house. i thought it was really strange, but didnt want to say anything on the boards and start trouble.
needless to say i was totally turned off by the fact that it was at some dude house and thank god i didnt get the kit. plus the price they quoted me was about $5000 more than what reputable shops were quoting for a comparable and a superior kit.

It was brought to light about a year ago.
https://my350z.com/forum/forced-induction/206412-run-with-a-ferrari-vrt-style-cont.html

I particularly remember this thread because it was the followup to the Mike calling out the guys from Car V2, which was lame in its own right.

We posted that 2 years ago, and got flamed..we also called BS on everything to leave VRT's shop, including their MOON DYNO, and got flamed..Now everyone is on the bandwagon after the horror stories surface..
Too funny..

Warm regards.
