Hi guys !
every time I go WOT when it's rainning... I have a fuel cut at 4200 RPM... and after the fuel cut, the engine is going in the safe mode... with the fuel or fire cut-off at 2300 RPM....
is there anyboddy here having the same issue with his Vortech when it is rainning...?
I found some posts here about the SS box going weird when it's rainning...

It shouldnt have anything to do with your SC unless a wrong wire was cut or used . Take it to a parts store and see if you are putting out some codes to give you an idea of where to start .
If you think your tires are going to spin and set off the VDC .Turn it off before hand till you find out whats going on .

After washing my car once it would not rev above about 3000rpm.. Let it dry out and no problem thereafter.. Think moisture will/can cause the SS box to do this.. Electronics for CAM sensor signals or something else is in the box is effected...
This has happened to me in the rain also but I also doubt that it is related to the Vortech as I also had it happen prior to my Vortech install. My best guess is that some sensor is getting wet is relaying some sort of wacked out parameter to the ECU so the car gets shut down.
