Default Forged Performance: 07 G35 Coupe ** Transformation from Bone Stock

We had the pleasure of doing another buildup from absolutely bone stock. This 2007 G35 Coupe rolled off our transporter with just 2,100 miles on the odometer, and still had the Infiniti safety tags on the seats, and the thing smelled new. Just a gorgeous car, even bone stock: white with tan interioria my personal favorite.

With a clean canvas to work from, Judson was looking for a very thorough soup-to-nuts buildup, and I am talking everything: Brakes, suspension, turbo kit, built engine, wheels, clutch, diff, the works. After we were done, there was nothing left to modify on this car.

His goal was modest power, of our around 500whp on our dyno, and a nice OEM idle, cruise, and smoothness.

Here is a short-list of the modifications we performed:
JWT 700BB TT Kit
Forged Performance S2 Shortblock (Pauter/FP Spec Arias ED Pistons)
Stock heads and cams
FCON Vpro with Knock Amp
HKS 1000cc Injectors
CJM Stage I Fuel System
Tein Mono Flex Coilovers
Hotchkis Sways
Ap Racing 6/4 Big Brake Kit
Volk GT-S Wheels wrapped in PS2's
GTM Spec Exedy Twin Disc Carbon Clutch
Carbonetics LSD
Greddy EvoTT Exhaust

The end result was 517whp on our Dyno Dynamics (no extra correction) at 14psi boost pressure, and a car that has no compromises at all. Still looks, smells, and drives like new, but with the addition of 250whp+, and a terrific handling package. My technicians didn't even leave a grease smug on the light interior.

Originally, we were going to ship the car back to the customer in Oklahoma, and out of the blue, he decided to fly in the next day! So he drove the car home the following day...all 900 miles of it...and reported no issues.

Thanks for the opportunity.

Enjoy Judson!

Coming next: Eagletangreen and rcdash's cars!

Nice work Sharif. I'm going to get those Forged Perfomance TPs (the ones I won at Z DayZ) installed shortly.

nice work sharif. i think its funny that we've gotten to the point on this board where we're referring to 500whp as modest

LOL..I knew you'd be the one to ask. I can show trq now, BUT I can't do it in shootout mode. If I run the dyno in normal mode, I can show trq, but I don't want people to ask....why is this dyno NOT in shoot-out mode.

Thanks guys.

yeah but I asked first! ha ha. the longer the car stays there, the more I want to keep adding on... it's gotta stop!

EDIT: hmmm... that provides no incentive for Sharif to do my car first; I take that back! I responded first, I call dibbs for the next lift!

those rear tires look rediculous.

what a great way to start ownership of a car! no worries about multiple shops, adding mods on top of each other...

nice nice nice.

Simultaneously. Both cars are running unique first-time setups, and should be ready around the same time. Overall, it looks like Eagle's will be first on the dyno...Raj knows why.
