I think that its a guessing game really. My vote would be to say that under 350 torque to the wheels is good. I really say that it is all in the tune though as well.
How safe is the tn @10psi tuned w/utec? Im sure it would be safer than the reflash@10psi. Isnt the tn tuned up to 9.5 on the reflash?
Has anyone done it ?
out here in the TRI-State all of our TN cars have been running for almost 2 years already on the reflash... considering the crazy weather patterns that we've been getting, the cars havent had any problems whatsoever on the reflash, the 10lbs we see only on WOT... but i've seen all cars go up there and NEVER past it.
Went boom after a few runs on race gas. You know I like/respect you Jeremy, but that car/tune had one purpose-to haul **** down the 1320-which it did! If you had kept it in one piece for some time it would have been worth bragging about in terms of what a stock motor can handle...to post that and let some uneducated guy see it Id say its kinda deceiving.
lol yeah man that motor didnt last that long. 350-380 should be safe but anything could happen man. Never boost a car that is N/A and think that nothing can happen.
well i occasionally turn up the boost to 9lbs. only for special occasions. greddy tt stock block. a/f holds really well at high tens low elevens. done it more than 10 times no problems ;-)
