Here's a good example of what a GREAT rider can do on a liter bike:

The driver/rider is the biggest part of the equation, but there's NO WAY you're going to keep up with a good rider on a liter bike, especially on the street. Even from a roll you don't stand a chance against a liter bike - at 80mph I'm in first gear which pulls to 110mph on my bike (stock gearing btw) - let's put things into perspective, 0 to 186 mph in less than 1/2 mile yeah, I would love to see your Z do that

+10000 He speaks the truth. Man I miss my bike(04 R1) RIP

If I remember correctly
03 GSX-R600 74mph in first
03 R1 around 85mph in first
04 R1 104mph in first (no low-end torque, but hold on tight at 7,000rpms)

Oh I know what a good rider can do, its just not the norm at the tracks Ive been at-I have no reason to lie or downplay bikes, I know what they are capable of. BTW-I hope you didnt think I implied I can run with a liter bike!

Your times are very impressive, come to Capitol Raceway some day and you could make some $$$$$$$

Now if you could only drive as good as you ride

Still think the that the R1 is the damn sexiest Japanese sport bike - I'm still rocking my 2000 R1 at the track!

Pocono FUSA +170mph into hard braking...

Holy butt pucker going around that bumpy a$$ infield at speed with patches every where

Thats sick, I always wanted a bike and came very close to buying one, but I had serious second thoughts. I dont have the self control to stay alive on the street.

actually the opposite.. being a good rider makes you an even better driver.. then you are always defensive on the road.. you don't have to buy a bike.. but take an MSF course.. see if you like what you are getting into.. then if you do.. go for it
