500hp vortech VQ.........
Im sure some of you have picked up or atleast looked at the latest issue of Super Street, with the white Vq swapped S13 hatch. Well i have been considering what swap i wanna do in my hatch, and is figuring since i spend so much time around the Z why not do a vq swap. i mean vqswap.com offers a complete swap kit for 900$. Well while i was on the site reading the ungodly bold large print, They claim their Vq swapped S13 drifter is making 500hp (mustang dyno) on a vortech super charger.
Engine Specs-
T-trim
Standard Bore JE Pistons 8.5/1 Comp.
Brian Crower Stage 2 Cams, Springs, Retainers
Brian Crower Connecting Rods
Coated bearings
Cometic Head Gaskets.
pic of the beast:
so is this a true claim. Seeing as the standard vortech kit has hit that hight of a number, would a t-trim really be that key to 500hp vq?
and for anyone in cali who is interested in checking them out

yea it was cool meeting u and the crew. Hopefully once i get of school i can head that way for a while, maybe.
But if i were to swap the VQ in i would prolly just do bolt ons for the base.......2600lb car with 260whp would be plenty. But im still not sure, hell i might go RB25 instead. Something KA suck....specially N/A

Sorry, didn't meant to thread jack, but I felt like saying that.
