sorry julian, no doctor hot dog from me.

i am a little more classy than that

i really wish the bashing on my accomplishments would stop, you and alberto both try to discredit what we have done down here in a very proactive manner.
i would greatly appreciate it if that could cease...

if my car was gutted or not, fuel cell or not, anything else, who cares?? it is what it is and its in the past now, nothing we can do to change it..

remember, i am only responsible for what i have said, not what anyone else does down here in florida.

thanks

Jeremy-all you ever did for 1 or 2 years-how ever long its been since you ran the 6MT Greddy set-up ,is tell everybody else to go do it-meaning go run their cars. You really believed nobody would come close-let alone weighing 500lbs more with LESS boost. As you guessed Id run low 11's on my high boost-HA. Then you have the nerve to post in my other thread that I was basically lying-meaning I had it in high boost Now that Im close your taking $hit posted as an insult towards you. I gave you credit when you went 10's, cuz IMO you were one of the first 6MT's to do it in this country behind Rubio's car. Now more will join that "status", so if they do it with less power, ful linterior, and power steering and a/c more power to them...

edit-Julian has been "poking" at you thats between you two. All I did was inform people you can do it with a "heavy" car, and you took it as me stepping on your toes...you know me, your taking my comment the wrong way

ok cool, well its called progression, we all learn and get faster of course. i fully understand that. i was on a crappy clutch then, we all saw the videos. i ran what was possible with my car and thats all i could do.

it would have ran a lot faster for sure with a good clutch.

i think what you ran is GREAT!! i would like to see a high boost difference just for comparison, i am not calling you a liar in any way, dont take it that way at all..

Jeremy-Ive said this 100X and I'll say it once more. Being "drag racers" we are very competitive people. I have no issues with you, nor have I ever doubted your times, your driving is at the top of the forums. We are both top 5 in MANY of the drag lists categories. Once again I didnt mean to step on your toes. You've known me online fo ryears and met me personally Ive never disrespected you.

Here is what I want-ALL of the FL drama queens PM'ing Jeremy Im talking crap about him-post where I did so (I didnt), otherwise stop the PM drama and trying to start $hit (lot of this going on recently-ask Luie even other shops he doesnt deal with are into his business w/PMing other vendors WTF!) you know who you are....

I have seen Jeremy's car on many occasion, and I find it hard to beleive he has taken 500# out of the car.

what's he taken out?

Power Steering pump and lines.
A/C compressor, lines, and condensor.
Heater core.
misc plastic interior panels.
strut tower braces.
front swar bar.
Fuel tank
Stereo

I think that's about it.

What's he put back in the car?

Full 9 sec legal roll cage. (that's alot of steel)
Fuel Cell, big SX pump and Filter.

other things I'm not counting are passenger seat, spare tire, jack, etc. those are items that most people going to the track do anyway.

when you think about how much the cage weighs, it definately offsets alot of the stuff he took out. also, taking out one fuel tank and putting in another to make proper fuel delivery easier is really an even trade. It's not like people go to the track with a full tank of gas to go racing, so the added capacity (weight of 20 gallons of gas) of the stock tank is irrelevant.

all in all, I bet jermey's car is only 200# less than a similarly prepped stocker that is going to the track for some good times.

blah blah blah man people have thin skins around here, why does everyone feel the need to chime in and defend others they are grown men and should be able to handle it.

congrats to everyone who takes their car to the track and runs them. alberto has a fast *** car, there is no doubt..

i cant wait for julian to run his...!!!

why all the drama, keep it positive and competitive, lets not lower ourselves to others standards.

Ignorance is bliss on that last comment you made. Jeremy will correct me if Im wrong it weighed 2800lbs without him in it. My car is over 3300lbs without me in it. Do the math...Jeremy-I agree its all in good fun

Julian is up next to throw up some "updated" times. Jeremy-your car will be ready for your track day?

Bert, what gear you running in the rear? I cant understand how your still in 4th at the top and Im in 5th at the same MPH, YOu must be revving to 7500-8000 rpms..

Ive posted this about 1 million times but here goes 1,000,001

I run a 3.3FD. With that and a 27" tire (street set-up) my 4th is good for 134mph revving to 7200rpm's. With that FD and my 26" slick I was running through the traps in 4th but right around 7000rpm's trapping 126mph. Im gonna move the limiter to where it needs to be (7500rpm's) so I can run 132-133mph traps easy on the 26" tire....

Wanted to add--->this is also why I think my car pulls 32mph the 2nd 1/8 is because the 3.3FD and tire set-up puts me just past of my HP peak at the end of the 1/4 which feels GREAT and is where you want to be (right at peak power or shortly after)

I can honestly tell you the 3.5FD and 26" slick felt stronger in 1st and 2nd...BUT the fact the 3.3 saves you from the 4-5 shift makes up for it.
