Default Turbonetics water line routing

Are there any instructions for installing the water coolant lines? I don't want to cut the wrong lines.

At one time Taurran had some basic pics of the procedures. Been awhile since I've seen them. I believe it showed everything you need to do. I have a vague memory of it. Sorry I don't have time to search. I'm about to leave. Maybe you could PM him?

I have a copy of his write up here:
http://www.turboneticsownersclub.com...opic.php?t=664

WTF was he banned for? In response to the friendliest comment he is no worse than the majority of people here. If he got banned than there should be a lot more people getting banned including some forum sponsors.

Don't take it to heart. It was a joke. I said it for the same reasons you stated. The last thing he would need is for someone to defend him, he is quite capable to do that when he gets back.

I'm getting ready to cut the lines today but I am still wondering what side the 3/4 and 5/8 are supposed to go on.

Rule of thumb for cars and aircraft are that the feed is the smaller(most times higher pressure) and the return is the bigger(low pressure side). Just a rule of thumb for most pressurized systems. I'm sure Reggie will chime in with the correct answer.

Both the lines look the same size so I can only guess that the smaller T fitting is for the passenger side because its slightly harder to install. I just hope it doesn't leak.

And I'm still trying to get a socket big enough to tighten the banjo bolts down.

The water "feed" is from the passenger side of the car. Use the smaller fitting there and the larger fitting on the drivers side "return".(I'll double check this in the morning so if you can hold off until then) The connections to the turbo don't matter though. The water can flow in from one side and out from either direction. As for tightening the banjo fittings are you referring to the banjo bolts on the bearing housing? If so I think we used a 20mm socket but I can't remember right now.

I hooked them up already and the smaller side (passenger) leaked a little so I stoped adding water and tightened more but I don't think it will go much more if at all. Hopefully I can get it tight enough. I need to get a 15/16 wrench to tighten the banjo bolts because the socket I borrowed isnt narrow enough.
