My good friend and fellow My350Z member Adam Armstrong (screen name Idwin) is preparing to undergo surgery to remove a tumor in his brain that was just discovered about a month ago. Fortunately, it is not cancerous, but it will leave him with varying degrees of both temporary and permanent disabilities.

Due to the nature of this surgery, he will not be able to work for several months. He has already taken many proactive steps to prepare himself both emotionally and financially (such as selling all aftermarket parts off his car and working seven 12 hour days). Since I don’t live close enough to him to give him a hug, I’d like to help him be able to make his mortgage and car notes for the next few months until he is able to work again. Please see THIS THREAD for more specific information from him.

I, along with the support of Rishie from www.AutoRnD.com and with permission of GodZilla and MC, am hosting a raffle to benefit Adam with his upcoming expenses. 100% of the proceeds (less paypal fees and wholesale cost of the item that the winner chooses) will be given to Adam before he goes into surgery around September 15.

Raffle entries will be $5 per entry, or $25 for six entries (buy five, get one free).

Thanks to istan, a RED ENGINE DAMPER that came off Adam's own 350Z is now in the raffle! This is in addition to the items above, so a total of FOUR WINNERS will be selected.


The winner may pick ONE of the above items, and it may only be for a 350Z or G35. There will be no charge for shipping. Item selection is subject to stock on hand at the time of selection. Installation of the item is the winner’s responsibility.

How to Enter:
1) Respond to this thread that you want to enter the raffle. **** DO NOT POST THE NUMBER OF ENTRIES YOU WANT **** Please do not express your desire to enter unless you are prepared to send payment promptly.

2) PM me with the following information:
Screen name
Full name
Email address (pref. your paypal address)
Number of tickets you want to purchase

3) Send paypal payment to dtorsdeals@yahoo.com for the number entries you would like. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR SCREEN NAME IN THE COMMENTS BOX OF YOUR PAYPAL PAYMENT.

You may purchase as many entries as you would like.

4) Upon receipt of payment, I will email a confirmation to you that I received your payment and the total number of entries you have purchased. Please give me some time to get back with you. If I have not responded within 24 hours, please email me.

The winner will be drawn on SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 9, 2007 at 8:00 PM CST. At that time, I will email and PM the winner to notify him/her that they won and with information on how to claim their prize. Try to be flexible in your selection in case your first pick is not available.

For the sake of organization, please post your sympathies in THIS THREAD. If you have questions pertaining to the raffle, please PM me and I will edit this post accordingly. It will be much easier for me to keep track of things if we keep this thread all business.
