anybody modify their oil pickup?
I finally have the motor back and we spent yesterday cleaning and prepping the remain parts to complete the long block assembly. My mechanic asked me about modifying the oil pickup. The pickup has surrounding metal around the screen. He advised me he had seen some applications remove this metal to expose more of the "screen" to the oil.
Anybody have thoughts on this?
