I'm gonna call Vortech this morning, but wanted to get some input from people more experienced than me
. My input supply line (from the tank) to the FMU has popped out twice spewing gas all over. The 1st time it happened I thought I didn't have the connector pushed in all the way. So I reconnected it and now, about a month later it popped out while trying to start.
I used the OEM clip that was used to make the stock connection on the FMU output side so it is nice and tight and no way it's coming off. But the input side didn't come with a clip, just a metal female connector. BTW I tried to use the clip on the input side but it wouldn't fit.
Any thoughts on how to resolve this??? I was thinking I could band aid it with electrical tape, but not sure if thats a good idea or if it will hold in the long run.

I'm supposing that you're talking about the connection where the fuel line plugs into the plastic stub on the outside of the fuel tank. Mine popped off a few hundred miles after VRT worked on it. What I found was if i pushed it on until I heard a "Click" and then pulled on it that would pop off with a little effort. I then pushed it on again to the click and them held it with a rag and pushed it a little further on until I heard another "pair" of clicks. I then tugged on it until I was sure it was on securly and have not had one problem in over 6K miles.

I got under there it was the connection from the FMU to the block, not from the tank to the FMU. The connection is a metal male connector to the stock female connector. I do not hear or feel a click and I pushed it in as far as it would go, it was then fairly easy to pull the connection out. I ended up using zip ties on each end and zip tied them to the tank connection and I am certain it's not coming out again
