Default AAM vs. CJM fuel systems

A RFS is one of the last components I need before I start my TN build...

SO I'm trying to decide whether to go with the CJM stage II or the AAM rfs. HP goal is in the neighborhood of 450whp, but I'm trying to leave myself a little headroom to increase power in the future if I want. From researching it seems either will more then do the job, and really the only negative thing I could find about either was something about leeching fuel lines on some AAM systems. Any particular reason I should go with one or the other?

So the leeching issue with the AAM lines is really that common and severe, huh?

Yes, I've had it since day one. Also, some of their fittings broke apart when FP did my engine build. Def go CJM.

I am not saying the CJM isn't better, but I've never had problems with my AAM fuel system. I don't really have a fuel smell either. I did try to buy a CJM, but this was two years ago and it wasn't on Charles' website at the time. He also had previously closed his shop so I couldn't call him to order. I just ended up getting what I could.

I think the early AAm systems had the cheap fuel lines that leeched fuel . They may have changed the lines later on , when or if they did I dont know . I know I have the cheap *** fuel lines . My garage smell like gas every day .

I had no issues with my AAM system, and it never leaked or smelled of fuel in my garage.

So what is it exactly that is the problem with them ? Most are getting the bad results while others dont . Is it the fuel lines , fittings , or both ? We have check my fittings over and over and ended up with the leeching fuel lines conclusion .

The only problem I had as far as fuel smells go, is when my 1000cc's were installed, they didn't grind the plenum to allow for the raised fuel rails, and when tightening down the lower plenum, it squashed my injectors down too far in the rails, tearing the o-rings, and resulting in a fuel leak. Def nothing to do with the FRS.
