posting this here because the correct section doesnt seem to be visited to much and i'm going on a trip and need some help asap. soo

i just had a new rack and pinion put into the car and i never noticed this before (i also have tie rods for more steering angle) but i can make 2 1/2 turns of the wheel to the right but only 2 to the left. was this an install error? does something need to be done here? steering wheel is also pointing to the right while going straight it sits between 1-2 o clock but it does not pull. dealer said he couldnt do an alignment becuse the car is lowered.

 

That might be the case. But it still doesn't need to be placed here. Not being a *****. Someone would help eventually in the proper section. Might need to contact a dealer and ask them. Since you need to know now. Plus you could just ask the person who installed it.
