As many know, I have pretty much exhausted all options dealing with this E62 Eaton type stillen SC. We have tried severall sizes of custom pullies up to 13psi., different injector combinations, custom cams, blower porting & polishing, meth/water injection, different header/exhaust combos, etc, (pretty much everything but NOS) ever since this positive displacement SC came out for these cars. Trying to extract much power out of these SC'ers is like pulling teeth I can definately give you a bigger list of things that does NOT work, rather than a list of things that did work .
The most power I have seen on a stock motor is 343whp (DynoJet) numbers. Cams were good for about 10-12 of that whp and about 10 more was extracted from adding meth/H20 injection which let us run a little more timing and saw some lower temperatures. On the 2 different stage 4 (out of the bxx) Stillen upgrades we have done, I only saw 6-8whp gains over a stage 3.
As I have stated many times before, with this Stillen SC you pretty much got what you got. Sure you can beat yourself up trying to get up to a true 340-350whp, but that will be your limit (if you are lucky) or 410whp on a fully built motor. The peak efeciency of this blower is 60% at best and it stops making usable boost at about 9psi. Trying to spin this blower anything north of 8.75-9psi the blower will either start to cavitate or will start making much more heat than it is worth thus negating any real meaningfull gains.
You can't beat this SC for its sound, maintance, response, etc. but don't kill yourself trying to get more power out of this finiky blower. It seems to dislike most mods that you through at it, and the mods that do work on it, it has to be tuned for.

You mentioned the almighty equalizer - NOS... Has ANYONE tried pairing up the Stillen SC with a 100 shot on a built block? Bad idea? I'm just figuring that in order to fight heat and gain power where the Stillen falls flat, this may be the only real option? Maybe not? Thoughts?

I have tried several things on a stage 1 kit with positive results. I have gained a lot of knowledge from this and have some ideas to make some big power. I plan to upgrade to a stage 4 over the winter with a small amount of Nitrous added to the mix and see what it can do on a stock block. If I see some good gains a set of SC cams will be added by next summer.
