Default Custom Exhuast for Twin Turbo Set Up

Well I was just thinking of building an exhuast system for my Z....

I know alot of people will say to just get the Evo TT, but why pay for a 1500 exhuast that im just going to cut up and and teh te resonators off of? As of right now i had the Borla True Dual exhuast, which is restrictive for a Twin turbo'd car.

So here's what im thinking of doing.

This set up will be a True Dual Set up.

3" Straight pipe w/ or w/o resonators

2 Apexi N1 canisters w/ 3" inlet and 4" tip/ outlet

PLS CHIME IN AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU GUYS THINK...

Thanks,

Mike

why are you going to take the resonators off? That chit is going to be loud! I have custom 3" from the turbos back with resonators and HKS mufflers and it's pretty loud. I like it how it is, but any louder would be too much.

I only went custom because at the time there weren't any 3" exhaust available. I say just go with what is available and don't take of the resonators.

d00d, trust me, with test pipes, the evo with resonators will be LOUD. i know this for a fact. it drones like no other and annoys the hell out of my passengers. my ear drums feel like are gonna bust. you say you like loud exhaust but trust me. its really really loud. so loud, im getting hfc's to reduce it a bit.

I had the AAM 3" and that shiet was loud. I rather go with the evott sounds much better. I also added flex pipes on both sides.

Give overZealous1 a PM. He owns SVRTech which makes custom exhausts designed for TT Zs.

dood, trust me, you do not want to do that, unless you like your car sounding like a jet engine. I had custom exhaust fabricated, wider flanges and the loudness is ridiculous (only had the old school glass pack for muffling the sound). I would literally drown out harley davidsons. Now i got the evo tt and happy as hell. At least get some massive resonator or something to keep the sound down.

I'd suggest getting the EVOTT and get cut outs. A properly made stainless steel polished exhaust with 2 resonators and 2 mufflers is gonna cost more than 1500. EVOTT with cutouts and you have quiet when you want and loud when you want.
The SVRT exhaust is okay too, but its a custom exhaust made off your car, so the fit won't be right on everytime like a big company exhaust like from greddy or what not

the APS 3" dual is race car loud IMO. Much too loud for my tastes for sure. Definitely a lot louder than the greddy evoTT

I have one of our exhaust systems, no cats, twin 3", no resonators, HKS Carbon Ti's, open wastegate dumps. I love it. It scares old ladies.
