Someone wanted to see the Maxflow Mondo bypass/bov compared to the Maxflow Racing bypass/bov that comes with the Vortech kit . The stock one is still on the car and Im not taking it off right now . But I hope this gives you an idea on how much larger this one is . It for sure is going to flow much more air . Vortech says you need to run this with a cog pulleys set up .

The Mondo is used for system with cog pulleys . It flows 500cmf @10psi I believe . The reason for going to it is , when I get up to 18psi [ 6,600rpm ] or greater and let off the gas . The air flow and preasure is still to much for the small bov that comes with the kit . It just doesnt flow enough to release the preasure fast enough and it just chews off the teeth of the blower belt .
The bv57 bypass flows way more than needed in my set up , and is used in race cars .
Im not getting it put on till probably after SEMA . My shop closes down that week and spends a few days out there , CUxtopher...PM me about the second week in Nov. and ask me again if I want to sell the old on .

booger, I don't suppose you're still running the crawford cats and stillen exhaust? Do you think those flow enough for 18 psi worth of power?
so what's this you're talking about with the belt teeth breaking off? Is that something you've experienced so far? Maybe a bigger bypass valve like this would have helped some of the guys who were pushing the ATI into higher numbers
