Default Twin Turbo in CA...

So for those of you that have a twin turbo setup in your 350z in CA how are you guys dealing with emissions? This is a must happen for me when I get the Z so if any one could shed light on how to get a pass at the smog check please feel free to share.

Perhaps regional forums could help you more and possibly provide "hookups"?

$50 spot will take care of the minimum wage govt employee!

Thats how it used to work for OH until they got rid of emissions testing.

MY MR2 "always" passed.

AS for Smog i know Cali is much more restrictive, But as long as you have some sort of smog sticker under you hood that says greddy, ie for an exhaust I have heard people letting it pass. Anyway you have 5 years to cross that bridge.

Also, some of the TT members are in the military and have their vehicles registered in states that don't have the restrictions CA does.

Actually if it was originally sold in CA OR meets CA emissions standards, it's exempt for 5 years from date sold new, so it will need testing on the 6th year UNLESS you transfer ownership at which time it will need to be tested PRIOR to the xfer at the sellers expense.
