If you can keep belt-slip in check, the 2.87 pulley should probably do it.

a smaller exhaust and smaller pulley will raise the psi

if you're wanting more power though, that's different
look into a T-trim or a lot more exhaust/cams mods and more timing/high octane along with 2.87 and 34 cog pulley.

a 2.87 and a 34 tooth cog pulley should do the trick

I dont know the anwer-but Im curious what is your car making for power now and at what boost level?

Ive heard that some Revups take longer to make power with Vortechs over other kits, are you happy with yours?

I'd just go with a T-Trim if you want that much boost. 2.87 and 34 Cog is going to get you there, but you will be overspinning the blower past its rated speed. More of a chance of blowing seals, damaging internals, etc.

Lancers7705 and I have been PMing for about a week now discussing all this stuff.

I'm curious to see someone push beyond what other people have done, but if I remember right GTM thought the 2.87 +34 cog pulley shouldn't go much beyond 6700 rpms. I have no doubt that setup will go to 7100 rpms, but for how long it'll do it, no one knows.

hehe I feel kinda conservative now with my car, reving the just the 2.87 only to 6600 rpms

100% honest Alberto, NO, for as much money as I spent I was expecting MUCH more. Althought to be fair I was expecting what I felt in a test drive of a G35 running at the time (i didn't know) 14psi on procharger. That made me want a supercharger to find out I was running 7 psi and numbers are well not happy with either at the time but hopefully better after this increase. I have the nismo exhaust sentry and Dave is going to turn my rev limiter down a bit as I am running 550cc injectors. So I am definetly excited for this

i still think there's something else going on if you're only hitting 7 psi on a REV UP engine with a 3.12 pulley. Nismo exhaust is better than stock, but it won't flow THAT much more. I kinda wonder if there's a possible exhaust leak or if there isn't more work that can be done with the tune?

To get to 13-14psi with a Vortech . You wiill need the T-trim blower , the 2.87 pulley or a 34toothed cog pulley and the 3.12 serp . I was the first one [ I believe ] to do this and I did the 34 tooth cog and the 3.12 . Reason being the bigger serp pulley had more area to grip the serp belt . With the stock intercooler and pipes , you should reach 13psi somewhere around 6300rpm . With a rev up motor I wouldnt think there would be much difference unless there is more over lap with the valves .
Going to a larger intercooler and pipes I was able to get to 13psi at 5900rpm . But I still had the same results . The serp belt will slip the rest of the way to redline . The reason is , the blower gets harder to turn as the PSI builds and when it gets to a certain point [ 13psi ] the serp belt no longer holds . It ends up slipping , grabbing , slipping , grabbing....till redline .
I have gone to a all cog belt set up to be able to build boost all the way to redline . It stil is a work in progress , but Im real close . Mounting a larger Bypass [ BOV] and intercooler changes , and a new EMS and it will be finally done .
Be glad to help if I can....Bill

I make 13 psi @7100 with the 34 tooth cog pulley & the 3.12 serp pulley.

the rev ups have different pulleys on the cog side.

they come with the 3.12 pulley on them already.

all you need is the 2.62 pulley and a good tuner. thats it.

the 2.87 pulley on there will make right between 10-11 psi on a revup

oh so 2.62 do i need to do the 34 tooth rear cog pulley? (with stock 3.12 I am making 7 psi in the heat and on a nice COLD day 8, so 2.62 will definitily make 11-14 psi)?
