Yesterday I was cruising along @ around 40 MPH when all the sudden my VDC Check engine light and my slip light all turned on. Car went into limp mode but still had very minimal boost. I drove the car home shut it off, did the technosquare ecu reset and everything was fine.

1)Has this happened to anyone else
2)Is this a warning for something else thats happening
3)should I even worry about
4)**** it drive it until it breaks.

car was tuned a few weeks ago at churchs automotive tuning, I have less than a 1000 miles on the sc and maybe 400 miles on the new Blower that was replaced by vortech due to a defect. Car is running perfect after the ECU reset, I just don't know how many pounds I am boosting because my boost guage is broken.

It's really best to have Cipher / Consult / Autozone to check the code when **** hits the fan... now anyone's guess is as good as yours since you reset the code

What kind of tuning do you have? I know Shawn isn't a big fan of the UTECs

 

IIRC this similar thing occorred recently with a poster and the advice he was given was to check the brake fluid level??

 

I just had my brakes replaced like 200 miles ago. The car was tunned using a SS box. I just I'll wait for it to do it again so I can scane the code.
