Default Slip under boost

Today I was out for a drive, and an odd thing happened. The car acted as if it spun the wheels to red line at the top of 4th and 5th ( I assume the traction control kicked in and owned me). I looked down and noticed my slip light was on as well as my traction control off light. I tried to hit the VDC button, and it wouldn't turn on or off. Anyone have any idea what that may be.
I always have my traction control turned off.

not many people can smoke their tires in 4th and 5th

the car will go into shock and sometimes takes a little while to reset it back to normal. just rip up the center console and take out the VDC module and not worry about it again...

hehehe

Yeah i know it couldn't have been spinning, just wigged out. I searched this forum and I didn't see anything like it. If it happens again, I'll get a video of it.

I kind of wonder if my transmission isn't going. It went from 5k rpm's to redline instantly in both gears.

My car has done that on the dyno in the past. And yeah, I just turned it off/on and the lights went off.

What are your mods???

Kind of sounds like the clutch is slipping to me. Then again, I am no expert...

Built motor, greddy kit, twin disc clutch, jwt cams.
I think if it was slipping, it would continue to do it. It didn't do it again.
