Yes you can, I am on stock injectors and I keep my airfuels in the high 10's at redline.

So I just went under the car and checked all the vacuum lines, they didnt seem to be very tight on the nipples (har har) so I zip tied all of them and went for a ride and it feels much better... I'm gonna take it in tomorrow to have another dyno run to see if it's better...
Crosses fingers...

He should have aborted the run long before that.
You're lucky you still have an engine.

Ping may also have a lot to do with your HP going down so rapidly. Its well below 200HP at 6500 RPM? That's very low even if it was NA.
I'll bet heavy inaudible knock was hammering your engine above 5K RPM on the dyno. An A/F of 18 is about as bad as can be. Even if NA, 18 is high enough that it guarantees a very high ping rate, yet the ratio is low enough that there is still a lot of shock energy released in each knock. ...A nice optimum for knock.
From a fuel/air explosive chemistry point of view, an A/F of 18 will ensure a high velocity and brissant shock wave.
Regardless, the dyno operator should have known to stop the run.
You probably shouldn't go back to that shop. And tell your friends to stay away from there too.
Even if latent damage to your engine is small or non-existant, the operator ran your engine through a risky mode of operation. Why take a risk like that?

The drop of power was due to a lack of fuel and most likely some detonation. The car simply did not have enough fuel to make the power asked of it. PROVIDING the belt was NOT SLIPPING on the dyno run, we have seen belts slip above 5000rpms and cause the car to go lean due to falling backward in the mapping to lower cell points.
However I 100% agree with Tony, as soon as the tuner saw it going the slightest bit lean, time to ABORT.Anyone who stays in it as either stupid, or REALLY stupid.. My advice, find anothe rtuner and give your car a REALLY good once over, something as minimal as a loose vacume line or wire, can cause engine failure. I suggest finding a shop that specializes in 350Z's or, believe it or not, Mustangs. Most mustangs have blowers and a shop familiar with them should be very familiar with a Vortech and Procharger set up and tune..
