Default 34 tooth cog on vortech, and retune?

Im looking at adding the 34 tooth cog to my revup vortech. Im using the stock 3.12 pulley right now. I just wanted to know what amount of increase in boost I should see? 2psi is what I was told but just want to check, and would I need a retune right away if I add the 34 tooth cog?

i think it will hit the timing cover. not sure but i think thats why it has a smaller pulley.

Also forgot to ask, does this 34tooth cog pulley or watever size is need to increase boost on the revup, does it replace the jackshaft cog or the supercharger cog? And also will a fuel return be nessessary with 650cc injectors and a walbro for goin for 420-440whp?

well the revups are suppose to bring a 34 tooth already on jackshaft, and a 32 on s/c cog. if thats the case you want to go down on the supercharger cog to a 30 or 28 for more boost

so I guess you would be the one to tell us if it hits the timing cover (mine is a non-revup BTW) or not? If not I am interested.

My T trm blew out when I first dyno the car awhile back ago and only made 11psi and I thought the only way to get more boost was to get your 34tooth cog pulley. Last Friday my shop was able to finally tune my car and to my surprise it made 15psi. So if I added the bigger cog it will be alittle tooooo much for my tranny to handle, hehe. Wish we had a wastegate or boost control option to turn up/down the boost.

You can have the option to control boost. Read this thread of mine :
