I am pretty sure 450 rwhp would be obtainable on a stage 4 with a built engine running nitrous. I have been planning on doing this over the next year or so. No one has really tried it though, Stillen doesn't make much power compared to the other kits out there but it is very reliable and practically maintenance free. If your on a budget I would advise getting a TT setup over the Stillen, it could get pretty expensive, trust me! GL

Anything will be possible with nitrous. One of the reasons the Stillen is reliable and maintenance free is do to the small amount of power it puts out.

While they obviously work an work well I have always strayed away from positive displacement blowers since they compress the air and heat it up even at idle due to the internal compression ratio.

Good luck if you do it.

You are right about the heat which is really the main issue here. Running a pulley smaller then what a Stage 4 offers would create more heat which in turn would hurt performance which is due to the small size of the blower, kinda limited.

For its size the water to air intercooler does a very good job at keeping things cool. I have been toying with the idea of purchasing a larger electric water pump and front mounted radiator to get the temps down. Nitrous also has a cooling affect which might help with this and detonation to gain more HP without having to use a larger shot.

This is all speculation though cant really say anything at this point until I try it and put it on a dyno. Like I stated before it will be cheaper to go with TT kit, im just a sucker for a blower and want to be different and try something new.

Well i also looked into the nitrous adder and when i talked to a few of the companies out there they said yes it will work. Then the disclaimer came ......you better have a built motor cause after a couple shots you will hear a big bang.

Yea pretty much the same conclusion I came to. I plan on getting my engine built sometime over the next year or so. Might test the nitrous system once using a small shot before then for a dyno run but thats about it. Don't want to push my luck too far considering my engine is already pushing over 80k miles.

I'm personally a supercharger man, but i think here you are better off with TT's. Superchargers will be cheaper, but you won't get as much out of them, where as TT's will give you plenty of room. With 20g you can get a very nice setup going on. +1 on the three companies mentioned above. They all have packages that will meet your needs, and won't hurt the wallet too bad.

gotta go TT. Since you are based in NC you are smack dab in the middle of a few great tuners, Forged Performance here in Atlanta, Performance Factory in FL, and MRC to the north. I am having a greddy TT installed at Forged in the next week or so, looking for 400 whp til i can build my motor in a year or so and go for bigger numbers. Any of these places do outstanding work.
