looking at the UTEC...but i want to knwo from other APS TT owners...maybe even Extreme kit owners what ECU they have used...to weild the best out of their set-up.

 

I don't own an APS kit but I it all depends upon what your HP goal is. I bought an HKS v-pro for my Greddy with stock block because eventially I plan to build the engine and will be shooting for 550rwhp.

I'm running the FCon and it works flawlessly. Depends if you want to have end user control or not.

 

if you are in chicago, definitely get the Fcon Vpro and have Tuan at GRD tune it up for you

at this point yes... but there are a few other better stand alone solutions coming up on the market

Call sound performance and talk to larry and chris about the new EMS. They work closely with the guy who did the new ProEFI plug and play for the 350z. I would investigate that route inside and out before making any other choices. I have a FCON and love it, but I have not seen the ProEFI yet and I hear nothing but good stuff about it. If you get that, Larry can tune your car and then your golden.

 

its not the EMS you should be worried about, its the tuner.

you need to make sure its tuned properly or NO engine management will work right.

 

haltech platinum 350z PNP standalone FTW

 

Any standalone will work perfectly when tuned correctly, Whether you go with a Haltech Platinum, MoTeC, or FCon VPro your car should run perfectly if tuned correctly.

As someone mentioned, the tuner is more important than the EMS.

I may do all of my own work, but there is a reason I drive as far as I do to get my car tuned...

 

I have had no issues with the f-con on my car with that kit.

 

thanks guys...the f con it is then...may even buy it tomorrow. for those of you that do have the f con then...would you reccoment the knock amp and all the other goodies it comes with?
