wow!! very impressed with johns skills. didn't have much time yesterday to get all the tuning done. but still by the time i left, the car was making about the smoothest power and the smoothest a/f i have seen. was straight as an arrow!! can't wait to get back in there so we can finish it up with more boost and utilize more of the haltechs features.

curious how the tuning was accomplished? dyno or butt dyno. lol. i know mr. reed makes housecalls, just wasnt sure whether or not you reserved dyno time at a local shop. i dont think too many shops like that in ny/east coast.
good luck this time around. share ur results if/when u can.

btw- i had a bunch of ses codes come up while we were tuning. i cleared them later, and it stayed clear for about 40 miles. then got a couple more, cleared them and has stayed with no trouble codes for now. seems as though you can get away with not throughing codes with the haltech. will decipher the codes if they pop up again.

I can only run about 135 miles before my ECU throws a code with my Unichip.
Luckily, I made a point of sliding through emissions testing about 100 miles after clearing the code
So how many miles on the break-in Scott and what are the wastegate issues?
How do you like the new clutch?

My Haltech is throwing P0011 and P0021, which are back 1 and 2 intake cam codes, but those are to be expected, since the Haltech is changing the intake cams to something other than the stock ECU is expecting. It would be nice if it could intercept those codes and erase them, but that's for the future...

new clutch feels really good. need to adjust the clutch pedal down though is all. the exedy twin carbon with the upgraded pressure plate spring. i did get caught in traffic though and my oh my did my leg hurt. it is about double stock pedal pressure.

will have to look into it. got a couple crazy idle things going on. granted, we didn't get much time to spend on it. but, idle will sit steady at 1000rpm when first started and for about the first few minutes of driving, then jump to a roving 2000-2300rpm after driving for a few. prolly more time with it will cure it though.

As a dealer, it is wonderful to have both good technical support and also to make suggestions (on a weekend no less) and have them implemented into the software by monday morning.
I will be trying some new stuff as I play with it, but the system is coming along nicely! Jason is really working hard to add the features we want/need, and since the hardware is OEM level stuff, there is no feeling of being a "hardware guinea pig".

Does it still happen when starting after the engine is already up to temperature?
