that pan looks like every other pan...how many different ways could you make one and have it fit in the same location? The internal vane designs are completely different than APS, so its a different casting for sure

Power output.
I'm not sure, but i believe the SS turbos will max out at about 450 whp, sacrificing maximum output for very quick spool up.
Not sure about the others

Thank you for the information!!!!

I will love to have this kit (SS HKS) on my G37S, do you know by any chance if they are going produce a full kit for the Z and G?

Take care!
Cesar

PS.

This kit looks IDENTICAL to the GTMotor Sport G37 Twin Turbo system. (SAM and George)

Why are people getting all excited about a kit that is put together half a** at best. Your not going to get any more power from this. The only thing you can get is more money out of your pocket and to say I have HKS turbos whoopee.

I was at PRI (Performance Racing Industry) event this weekend here in Orlando. Hanged out at the HKS booth for a bit and asked about this TT kit, to my surprise they didn't have much info about.

But he did tell us to buy a Turbonetics ST over an HKS GT blower. (not kidding)

I got a good laugh when he got all hush-hush and mentioned that.

Why is everybody getting so shitty about it. It isn't meant to be a complete kit. If you check out the japanese site it says there it's a starter kit. It's an expensive starter kit, but still only a starter kit.

Actually it was more related to the fact that we were discussing the HKS turbo options, and I commented on the fact that the HKS single turbo is strictly for RHD vehicles. I also asked why the TT kit didn't appear to come complete and only really looked to consist of turbos, manifolds, and an oil pan. He didn't really know why but assured us that all of the other HKS turbo kits came complete. So, don't go on a headhunt just yet. I got a good laugh out of it though, I was wearing a badge that said Turbonetics Inc on it, but flipped it around before going up to the HKS/Garrett/Precision booths. His comment also followed my comment about not being incredibly excited about another HKS supercharger kit.

I also specifically asked questions on the GT Supercharger, but didn't get much info. They said it was very close to the same design as the Rotrex unit, but should operate slightly more efficiently due to a change to the design of some orbiting balancers of some sort in the unit. They said it should be good for a little power and efficiency, but wouldn't be a big power upgrade over the old Rotrex kits.

Unfortunately I was there on the day that the HKS Japan and UK guys were all there, and didnt get to speak with any HKS US reps which were slated to be there the following day. The HKS Japan representatives spoke little or no english.

We also took a quick look at the new HKS knock amp interface which looked pretty nice.

They would have been better off just offering the set of cast manifolds...
