Larger fuel injector noise?
As some of you might know, I recently built my engine. We successfully fired up the engine and I'm breaking in the engine right now. It has been 2 days since I got the car and something is bothering me.. During the idle, I can hear notable clicking noises coming from the engine. Sound is depended by the RPM. Clicking noise becomes more rapid as RPM rises, but it seems to disappear above 2000rpm.
I have GTM stage 2 cams and HKS 1000cc low impedance injectors. My mechanic checked the gaps between the valve seats and cam lobes and replaced, rearranged valve seats around for the proper clearances. He also put in new timing chains and retainers. So, he doesn't think the sound is coming from cam lobes slapping the valve seats or the timing components. He thinks it's coming from the injectors. He also suspects that the poor quality oil I'm using for the break in is making the valvetrain noise louder.
If worst comes to worst, my mechanic promised me he will open up the heads to check the clearance again. I did hear from people that cams will make the idle sound funny, but I never heard other built VQ engines with cams and larger injectors, so I'm not sure what's a tolerable valvetrain noise is. Any inputs will be appreciated.

I would suggest running the car a few miles and see if the sound begins to quiet. brand new motor might just need some time to get things seated
