Default Exhaust setup for TN ST

I've spent hours looking, haven't found much useful information at this point, so I'm going to ask...

I'm ordering the TN ST kit here soon, and I'm really struggling to find information about exhaust setups for it. From what I understand, the TN dump is a single out, so I should avoid any true dual exhaust system... either that, or I would have to get some sort of a Y-pipe I assume. What options does that leave me with? Again, all I have really found so far is either custom setups or the Jic single 3". I'm sure I'm missing something here, but just trying to look into what options there are.

If it helps, I don't want an overly restrictive exhaust (aka Nismo), and I would like to find one that isn't audible from 3 miles away. I'm sure there must be a happy median somewhere, I just have to find it

Any feedback would be extremely helpful, I'm really hung up on this one.

You just answered your question there. Any exhaust that is single in will work. If you do a true dual you need a reverse Y.

The Nismo or Fujitsubo exhausts are 3" back to the muffler and two 2.25" out the back. It's really not THAT bad for a stock block setup. As long as you plan for reasonable power levels and want something quiet, it should be fine. Anything higher flowing than that will be fairly loud.

My car put down 412whp on the reflash with a Fujitsubo exhaust, which is ultra quiet. I doubt I would have seen much more on a loud straight through single 3" exhaust.

As far as all the dozens of other exhausts out there, there are quite a few threads on this that have plenty of opinions and full listings...

I would also like to know what exhaust would be good???? There are a couple I have in mind, and I think I am going to go with one that is not a true-dual, because I dont want to have a custom reverse Y-pipe made.

I'd like to take a chance to show you my setup. Not that it matters. A single would be great. But my setup is a custom and not much custom at that. Just used what was there and added a flange. I still wanted the duals and already had the Greddy EVO2 before I knew of my future plans. So no wasted money at the time. And I don't like the single look. This setup is great. I wish it was louder, for that's my thing. But still sounds great and throaty. That's why I have open dump.

Where you see the flange, that's where the TN kit meets the Greddy. We, or they hacked the Greddy part where it was single and cut it where it starts to split. So basicly the Y was cut out.

thanks for showing the setup, when I state that I want a single, I just mean one pipe that goes back into an OEM like canister, I dont mean a single evhaust tail pipe.
