Default APS Tuner TT Kit, few quesitons...before i buy...

ok so some of you might know that ive been doing this big FI build for my car. full everything being done, including meth injection, and pretty much the works. well initially i thought i was gonna go with the APS extreme TT kit, but that chagned becasue i wanted to go with the CJM fuel kit, so there was no need for that kit. well then i changed my mind again and decided i was going to go with the greddy TT kit...but then started reading about aps again.

so heres the last few questions i have before i make my final decision...

i have bought the CJM fuel system with RC 1000cc injectors...and i also have bought the F Con as my ECU. will the Tuner APS tt kit be sufficient in terms of parts, or will i need to get the full kit because of missing parts....

also, i have bought the SGP 3" downpipes along with 3" flanges and the greddy EVO TT exhaust...will this piping/exhuast set up work with the aps kit??

let me know guys...almost ready to buy!!

and also any vendors out there that still carry the tuner aps tt kit, let me know!!

BlackPearl,
I'm pretty sure that those 3" pipes won't fit the any of APS kits do to the outlet of the turbo housings being designed for internal wastegates. Look at the 3rd and 4th photos of the attached thread, those #' pipes bolt directly to the GReddy housings: https://my350z.com/forum/engine/257322-sgp-s-test-pipes-and-wastegate-relocation-kits-in-stock-more-pics.html Call a reputable vendor, they wont steer you wrong.

Are you doing the install yourself or taking somewhere?

I flip flopped between GReddy, APS and JWT 700bb's for months. In the end the only gripe that I had with the GReddy was the loss of the bumper support and the older style sleeve bearing oil cooled turbos(which is a none issue really) the GReddy spools plenty fast and has proven its self to be very reliable for a lot of folks. Also I bought the turbo kit first then the supporting mods to complement it, just my 2cents worth though.

Good luck and hope you post when you get it all put together.

i will definately post...i was planning on the greddys.

the fact that they werent oil cooled or water cooled did upset me a bit, but i realize that they are tried and tested, and are usually always ok.

i guess i didnt realize that the SGP were direct hook ups for the greddys, but i guess that makes my decision for me then!! almost a grand for pipes and relocation tubes...i would be an idiot to waste taht money lol.

thanks

The newer APS tuner kits come with the 3" down pipes. However APS will be discontinuing the tuner version once they are sold out of them, along with the single turbo kits. I just had one I sold to a customer, Im not sure if APS has an allocation of any more tuner kits,I can check when they reopen. We order one for you, hit me up!! We give discounts to our military men!!
