Default Greddy vs. APS

Ok so i've been doing some research on who makes the best tt and i've narrowed it down to 2. it looks like greddy would make a better drag car
( https://my350z.com/forum/drag/233840-top-25-1-4-mile-times-for-tt-st-supercharger-nitrous-bolt-ons-stock.html )
but i've heard that the kit comes less complete then the aps
but the greddy is less expensive

well i dont know what to do

i plan to build up the engine either way and make my z an absolute beast

I'm going with the Sound Performance setup.......great shop, good friends, and local.

Thats big, what do you do if something gets screwed on it and your tuner is 1000 miles away???

Depends on what you want. APS theoretically SHOULD give you less spool time and faster response due to the ball-bearing, but the two are VERY close.

I ended up going APS because I think the kit looks better in the engine bay and I liked the idea of BB water-cooled turbos mostly. Plus I got my kit with a killer deal.

You can't go wrong either way.

Just my 2 cents.

well there wouldn't really be a diff there...open dumb is open dump.

that mor depends on the size of waste gate and the size of the dump pipe

Well . . are you referencing to me?

I went on the Dyno same day, right after a friend's built GReddy TT G35.

I had more torque (i think between 50-100, I can't remember) than he had at the same RPMs. (around 2500)

Also he was pushing 16psi, I'm only pushing 9psi. I don't know if that is a factor in spool time.
