Default Gas mileage increase w/ plug change

When I installed my new injectors about 10k miles ago, I put in a new set of platinum plugs. I was running way way rich and after a decent tune i was getting around 16-17mpg. Well I just swapped out the plugs again with coppers two weeks ago, and now I just calculated 19mpg. Not too shabby.

Hopefully your new non fouled plugs will stay that way and not degrade after a few miles.

Talking about plugs. What does it mean when one of the plugs have just a slight white flaky crude on them?
