Hey guys,
I was redoing my gaskets today, and looking at my MD plenum spacer, i noticed a joint. Now if you twist or tension the joint, it most definately separates.
Is that joint something I should be concerned about aboutm esp considering I have a known vacuum/boost leak?
Here are some pics. Is this what you guys have on yours also?
Thanks!

Ok, i found out from Tony from MD, that those joints are supposed to be there. I assume to save metal in the manufacturing process. Either way on my setup, my vacuum leak went away when i removed the spacer. That coulda been due to reinstallation/retorquing however, but I;m in no rush to swap back to the spacer. Too many other things to get right 1st.

The joint is hydraulicly pressed and swaged. It should be absolutely rigid and inflexible.
If it has any give in it, the swage had to have been damaged in some way. Possibly droped, bent or some kind of shipping damage.
PM me your adress. I'll send you a replacement.
