Oh ya, another few issues gone, the throtle input durning a warm/hot start is no needed any longer, or I wouuld have to feather the throtle at stop lights sometimes to keep the rpms from droping to a stall. These two items appear to be gone under Haltech managment.

Did the Haltech get rid of the Service Engine Light (P1444) that us UTEC users at altitude have? Did it throw any other codes?
(thinking of going with the Haltech to get rid of the UTECS jerkiness)

Is this something specific to the high altitude, or did you just unplug/remove your EVAP solenoid on the back of the intake manifold? If that is the case, Haltech will not do anything about that.
The 'jerkiness' on the other hand, it absolutely will take care of. From a driving standpoint, the car can be tuned to run like stock.

[QUOTE=Dave 90TT]It's specific to VQ35's running UTEC's at high altitude (above 4k feet or so) All of us here in Colorado with UTEC's get it, N/A or FI
This is the one code I never saw!? I would get a 1283, which I think was bank1 trim lean code?

Awesome. Does it completely replace the stock ECU, or does it leave that there, and does it interfere with any other functions of the ECU (I realie these questions have been answered somewhere, and I am currently searching for the answers, but I can't yet find them)

The stock ECU remains in the car with all of the ecu's on the market now. It has to be there to drive things such as the gauges, dbw throttle body, etc. With it still in the car these can be tested for obd2 compliance as well.
