Default custom turbo question

Quick question. my buddy wants to make a custom twin turbo kit for his mazda 6s v6. i wanted to know if the turbos had to be equal length from the motor. do the manifold pipes have to be equal length, or does it not matter. thanks.

Your answer is "no". It might slightly change the spool characteristics depending on the piping selected, but it will still work fine.
