And then look for one that says why people choose that over a dual. You seem to point the finger at me yet look around...

try searching for ONE keyword and use the search titles only option. The search function is not the best but once you learn how to use it its pretty effective.

P.S. They sell electric superchargers which may be a good option for you. You should look into those.

You would have been fine with your comment but leave the PS out. I think in the rules if not already there should be a manners section. Mods should be looking for stupid crap like that, or do they no exist on here?

If I search for one word what do I search for turbo? Single? That might be a worse result

try both. seriously if you just type in one keyword you'll and do search in titles only it will work alot better. there will still be some non relevant threads to wade through but you just gotta take your time and get to the one you want. usually now i can find what i'm looking for within five minutes of searching. by the way I'm just givin you hell man I got the same response when I first came to this site so now its my turn to dish it

So I should limit the search function because it sux and not get all the information I need? Then start threads asking question only to end up in the same position as Phat0435z? No coment needed they were rhetorical

Doug I must say when I searched you were mean to new people but thanks for being nice to me and calm. I think you get the point and so do some others but the way you guys act towards new people is horrible. I am new here but if you look on other forums such as honda, audi, and nissan I have a lot of "credit" that I do not have here as I havent been a member for the fact of not owning the car, that doesnt mean I know nothing about a turbo. or a motor nonless. People need to be nice around here is my point, the ***** gotta stop.

why get a single or twin turbo when you can get both?
TRIPLE TURBO!!!

I'd just look at dynos, consider the pros/cons of each, and choose one

I would, but you need like 30 of them installed to equal the power of a triple turbo

Don't forget about the boost controller that can go to 11!!!

But seriously learning to use the search function would yield the results you want. In the last 3 months(the time you have been a member) there have been 2 other threads talking about this same topic. That is why everyone gets a little mad over it.

phat,
Use the boolean search. You will see it at the bottom of the search menu. You can either use this or natural language. Google boolean and learn more on how to use it. I have a very limited knowledge of this type of search but for what i use it for its helps. I use it with multi word searches and it has cut out a lot of the useless threads that will pop up in my searches.

+1 to the boolean search!!!!! It makes all the difference. Search in titles only and select boolean at the bottom and the search works very well.

I dont think you will find one that specifically states this in the title or with any word or phrase. Honestly i have sat for countless hours reading these threads. You will find in these threads where people discuss their preferences. There really is no specific way of finding this information other than reading and trust me there is A LOT..lol.. and honestly by doing it this way, not only do i learn what i was looking for but i find out about other things that i never thought of.

As ruthless as these guys are, they are more than willing to help. Remember you can also PM them personally.

Also dont think this is a new issue..look at this thread i did back in April of 2005 when i first became a member..

Sorry I'm not going to indulge you by searching for you. Time to use the Boolean search method for yourself. You can also use google to search the website for you. Best of luck.

Too funny..
Thanks but that was in 05-01-2005 and its now 1-16-08, 3 years later and still the same crap. The FI actualy has a sticky on how rudeness is not supported or condoned and a ban will happen. I have reported several of you and if I have to be the bad cop so be it. We are all I would think mid 20's+ and we need to act our age. The old saying goes if you have nothing nice to say dont say it, the end. No need to post unless you guys are competing for post #'s? But seariusly lay off the search thing I will not be the last "noob" on here thats for sure.
