Just curious why some went single turbo? TT too much $$? Not trying to poke fun just curious why you picked that route...

Twin turbo's....

Spool faster
Have the potential to make more power, and a larger powerband.
Less exhaust piping (no need for a crossover pipe)

Single turbo's....

Less expensive to install
Lower initial cost

As opposed to what? A "weld on" kit?

lol... You can return anything to stock with enough effort.

but everyone has their own reasons for putting twin or single turbo

I have a strange feeling MrWatchDawg has never been in the vicinity of a turbo kit.

I am going STS because it's an affordable setup and I do not ever want a ton of HP in the G. I'll go with something else to make big numbers.

I have mine due to I was new in every aspect of FI there was. Didn't know much then. Plus I got my single $1500 cheaper than the normal pricing (was brand new also). So I just went that route. Still wish I went TT. No big deal though. I'll still get it. Been on car close to a year. Runs fine.

Alot of people went Single for the following reasons also:

- The attraction of the big power from what Supra's were doing on Single Kits
- The bling of the Turbo in the engine bay on the Turbonetics Turbo (for some reason i see alot of show cars going for TN Kits)

I hate people that say search... have you tried to search for something on this forum? Type in single turbo and let me know how many posts you come back with. Then tell me to go search

Phat04350z,

what is your malfunction? You are giving advice in other threads like you are the expert on turbos and now you are starting threads like this one. If you took a little while to read the threads that are already written, maybe you would get the answers you are looking for without pissing everyone off.

Maybe if you were a little less lazy and a little more commited, you wouldn't start threads and post garbage like this.

All these are threads you have started!

Nice job stalker! In case you did read those, those threads were specific to the Z. Same with this one. A turbo on any car pretty much is the same on ANY car. This thread is Z specific, spacer is Z specific, exhaust is Z specific, what breaks on 1st on a Z is Z specific, should I continue? I only post when I know I have the right answer. In this case I am asking why people choose single over dual. If you have an issue leave and dont post in my thread.
