the white tips definitely look like a lean condition... but, 17k on plugs running the boost levels you have been is a bit harsh... i am set on changing mine at 10k or below... especially since i'm running 2 step colder plugs... are you're 1 step colder? remember, they're more susceptible to fouling due to the lesser spark...

EDIT - the more i look at the plugs, the more i see just normal fouling and corrosion from harsh use... if were truly lean, the ceramics would be white, as well...

Innovate DB9 standalone = $279.

define "soaked in oil" - I don't see oil deposits in those pics. Don't count the threads

Looks to me like your plugs are a bit on the cold side, or your not that hard on the car...but that should be fine

It seems you can forget the Innovate. Everyone around here can't seem to get one to work more that 24 hours. And Innovate is no help at all. I'm think of going AEM. What other options do I have? Don't say Fcon.

Get the Tuner Reg wideband from Turbo XS. If your running the UTEC it will interface and data log. You can run a display gauge off the UTEC. Contact Quadcam. He did this.

Here's a pic fo the gauge that I am using on the output port of the Turbo XS Tuner. My Tuner is stufed up under my dashboard, so I use this gauge to see what is going on. But, when datalogging, my laptop interfaces drirectly to the Tuner/UTEC combo.

As far as the color of the plugs you are only going to see the way the car was running when it was last started. IE: It was last idling so it may show signs of it being a little lean. More damage to the plug would be a different case.
