Default Inlet diameter on Greddy Turbos? 2.75" or 3"?

Does anyone recall (or can you measure) a greddy turbo from the kit. I want to say it is a 3" inlet, but something keeps telling me 2.75."

Any info would be appreciated.

Andrew

I'm pretty sure its 3" with a reducer coupling. When I get my turbo back and in hand in a couple of days, I'll check and let you know.

I think it is 3". I just went back to the Greddy insctructions and realized that Greddy supplies 2 60mm to 80mm silicone reducers. IIRC, those must be the reducers that fit onto the turbos. therefore, the inlet must 3". If you don't mind, please measure your turbos when you get them back. Thanks.

but may i ask you a small questions please its offtopic of course but its related to the GReddy Turbo Kit

What is the size/kind of the thread on the wastegates ?

and what is the size of the Thread you tapped onto your Upper Plenum ?

i really really like your setup am gonna do it like you but i`ll get TunerToys.com Vacumm Manifold because its the smallest and cheapest :P

Thanks in Advance.

IIRC, the thread for the wastegates is M10 X 1.0mm. You can verify this with Tial, but I think that is correct.

Also, I tapped a 1/8"NPT hole into the plenum. you could probably go a bit bigger with a 1/4" NPT, but I didn't have that tap on hand. The fitting you see coming out of the plenum is a 1/8"NPT to -6AN 90 degree "swivel" fitting.

ooh i thought its 3/8 NPT so the biggest i can go is 1/4 NPT don`t you think its small ? because the Vacumm Source Port on the Manifold is 3/8 NPT, ok on the wastegate how did you connect the hoses ? i didn`t get the M10 x 1.0mm thingy i thought its also a NPT thread, i wanna run the -4 AN lines to the wastegates with Twist lock because its more secure :1 can i find it in summit ? also please what other good sites to search, i wish i live in the US i`ll test fit/find everything around :/

Maybe I missed something, but what did you do with the wastegates?

I removed the banjo fittings from the Tial Wastegates. The Tials have been tapped with a 10mm metric fine pitch thread (M10x1.0) from factory.

I used M10x1.0 to -4AN adapters. from there, I used -4AN 90 degree fittings and then connected those to -4AN braided stainless lines going up to my BCS.

these are the "metric to AN adapters" :
