I would recommend either a HKS EVC 6 or a Blitz SBC i-D

Not that I know of, the temp server is up while we are still beta testing the site. I just checked now and it isn't (its not suppose to be yet) One of the developers might have been testing something.

Anyhow March 1st is the official launch date (really this time )

Take care!

I know everyone likes the evc6 but what are some of the reasons that people think it is superior to other electronic boost controllers?

I think the EVC hold boost really well and so as Blitz. Does Blitz Blitz SBC i-D have gear dependent boost control just like the EVC6 and AVCR?

The EVC 6 is very user friendly. It has a lot of features that I will most likely never use, but just the same, its still great. It holds boost very well, and provides a very accurate vacuum/boost reading. From what I have heard from other members, the Blitz unit is good, but it seems that most who actually know something about both seem to agree that the EVC 6 is the superior unit. I have it and love it. A color screen would be cool, but thats sort of just a gimmick when you're talking about boost controllers.

Does the EVC 6 do boost graphs or have any additional functionality? From what I have read about the Blitz, it seems like it would be just as good as the EVC 6 with a few additional features and also costs a little bit less.

I have a HKS EVC VI and the stepper motor failed after a few weeks of use. SGP has been trying to work something out with HKS to get a replacement so for now i've been stuck with boost via waste gate springs (5psi).

I have the blitz SBC id-3. It's pretty good but sometimes it's a bit spotty with boost, especially on the auto setting. I'd recommend the HKS EVC VI, but the Blitz unit is 2nd imo...

i had the utec and it blew, i overboosted ALL the time, i kept on having to get it tweaked, switch to the hks 6 today and all i can say is that it is amazing, hold bust impecably( even with open stock exhaust, and when i have the cutout open). the boost also feels alot smoother and seems to hit harder. ive only had it a few hours but i dont regreat dropping the money.
